Dibru Saikhowa National Park, a biosphere reserve, is known for its white-winged wood ducks and feral horses. During World War II, the British Army domesticated feral horses and abandoned them. Visit the river island Churkey Sapori, which is home to approximately 50 wild bronzes, descendants of WWII army horses. Observe them in small herds, especially during the monsoon.
