This will shorten the path to reach the north of Brahmaputra from Numaligarh by 3 hours. The shorter connectivity and transportation will boost the economies of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Kaziranga Elevated  Corridor

It is a 4-lane, 34-kilometre-long highway road project. The main purpose of the project is to provide the safest transportation without disturbing wildlife.

2

The project will reduce animal casualties caused by high traffic near Kaziranga National Park. The elevated road will provide a faster passage for vehicles, keeping the wildlife habitat undisturbed.

Jorhat - Majuli Bridge

The 6.8 km bridge from Nimati Ghat, Jorhat, to Kamalabari, Majuli, whose construction was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi, is the most-waited bridge over Brahmaputra.
